GEICO Gecko Miniature Golf Cart

Purpose: Commercial Prop Model

The golfing GEICO Gecko rides the course in style and comfort in his own custom mini golf cart.

For this commercial prop, we designed a miniature golf cart to be 3D Printed in individual separate pieces. These pieces were meticulously finished, painted, and assembled. There was even a little golf bag with tiny clubs.

3D Design

Based on reference images and sketches from the client, the miniature golf cart was sculpted in multiple separate pieces to allow for detailed model painting. The finished 3D model files from this process are exported and ready for 3D printing.

3D Printing

All individual components of the golf cart, golf bag, and clubs were 3D printed in a detailed plastic resin material.

Model Painting

Each individual piece was hand-painted, and the final model was assembled. The finished product was given a protective coating for handling through multiple production takes without damage to the paint.
